3. Use of personal information
Personal information is never disclosed to third parties, unless this is explicitly authorised by you, and we never collect personal information unless you yourself have given us the information by registering, making a purchase, participating in a survey, etc. Through these means, information is collected regarding the user’s name, address, postal code, e-mail address, gender, age, interests, attitudes and knowledge of various topics.

Personal information is used to complete the purchase or service in connection with which the information has been collected. This information is also used to enhance our knowledge of you and other users of the site, and may for example be used in research and analysis aimed at improving our products, services and technology, or to display content and advertising that is customised to match your interests and hobbies.

If we have registered incorrect data, or if you have other objections, you can contact us at the same address. You are entitled to be informed concerning the information that is stored about you, and you may object to the registration of this information under the terms of the Act on Processing of Personal Data.

3.2 Protection of personal data
According to the Act on Processing of Personal Data, your personal information must kept secure and confidential. We store your personal information on computer systems with limited access, located in controlled facilities, and we check our security regularly to ensure that our user information is handled securely, with continual consideration of your rights as a user. We cannot however guarantee 100% security when data is transferred over the Internet. When data is transmitted and stored electronically, there can be a risk that unauthorised persons may forcibly gain access to the information. You therefore submit your personal information at your own risk.

Personal information is deleted or anonymised continuously, when the purpose for which it was collected is concluded. Personal information may be stored for a maximum of twelve months after use.

The rapid development of the Internet means that changes may be required in our processing of personal data. We therefore reserve the right to update and amend these guidelines for the handling of personal information. If we do so, we will naturally change the “last updated” date at the bottom of the page. In the case of major changes, we will notify you in the form of a visible announcement on our websites.

If personal information about you is processed, you are entitled under the terms of the Act on Processing of Personal Data to be informed of which personal data is derived from you. If it turns out that the information or data processed about you is incorrect or misleading, you have the right to demand that this data be corrected, deleted or blocked. You may at any time object to information about you being processed, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. You may also complain about the processing of information and data relating to you. Complaints should be submitted to the Danish Data Protection Agency, cf. section 58, subsection 1 of the Act on Processing of Personal Data.
