Online Inspiration for Your Spring Range

From 16 to 19 March 2021, you can meet Denmark’s gardeners online on one single platform. The Floradania Virtual Trade Fair will feature current products and news from Denmark’s producers.

The Danish plant industry welcomes everyone in need of inspiration, overview and contact – some of the most important reasons for visiting the many trade fairs that the COVID-19 situation has currently put paid to. The Floradania Virtual is a digital trade fair, at which more than 30 Danish manufacturers will present their products in a tempting universe on one consolidated platform.

Floradania Marketing, which is usually responsible for the Danish joint stand at IPM Essen, is the brainchild behind this virtual trade fair initiative on behalf of Denmark’s gardeners. Here, you can visit the individual nurseries or drop by the newsroom, which presents this season’s exciting novelties. It is pretty similar to Floradania’s inspirational physical trade fairs. Be sure to visit each producer to see what the company has to offer.

Built-in search functions
If you are busy and know exactly what you are looking for, you can of course use the built-in search function to quickly find the producers and sales companies with which you would like to discuss products you are interested in. For example, you can target your visit according to what you want to see – flowering plants, foliage plants or maybe garden centre items etc.

There is also the option of searching directly for specific products. For example, type ‘rose’, ‘hydrangea’ or ‘orchid’ in the search box and you will be directed to companies that supply these particular products. You are guaranteed an overview in the twinkling of an eye. During your visit, you can create a digital checklist, which you can then use to follow up on your trade fair visit.

When you visit the virtual trade fair stand of an individual nursery, you will be given a brief introduction to the company, in some cases supplemented by the option of watching a short film about the nursery. If you click on one of the products, you will see a magnified image of the actual plant with all the relevant information.

Guidance at your fingertips
If you need guidance during your trade fair visit, it is at your fingertips. When you check in at the trade fair, a friendly hostess will welcome you and explain how to find your way around. There is also a live chat feature, so you can ask clarifying questions and make enquiries as you go.

You can also share the screenshot via Teams or Zoom with your plant supplier or a producer, thereby getting a guide to accompany you around the fair.
